European integration: European club was established in Perm.

The initiative of establishing the European club belongs to the non-state organization “PIT-fund”

With anxious we watch the process of growing of antirussian sentiments in the West and also review of the geographical basics. For example, in USA was published a map where the Europe end on the boarder with Ukraine. Recently during a formal reception some of young diplomats from the western-European countries in private talk said that boarders of the Europe as parts of the World are disputed and it is not a fact that Russia is a part of it.

Totally this facts bring to a thought that it is necessary to remind that geographically Europe starts with Ural and to participate in integration and building Europe without dividing lines. It is possible to do so in many ways. It is clear that Perm is not a capital of Russia but it is the first large million people populated city in Europe. To draw attention of our citizens and citizens of the European Union. Establishing the European club as non-profitable PIT-fund’s organization, we enlarge opportunities not only to diplomats and deputies but also to scientists, industrialists, journalists, historians, representatives of public organizations and culture, common people. We unit people who considers themselves as Europeans and Europe as our common house, people who think that our road is European integration in the wide sense.

Our aim is to show where does  Europe start and end. It is clear that Russia is the  European power which doesn’t end in Urals. Russia is a country which is situated in Europe and also in Asia. However Russia occupies half of Europe.

Accent Greeks had an idea about boarders of the modern Europe. More over in 19th c Helsinki agreement set that the boarders of Europe from Atlantic to Ural. Nowadays EU as a synonym of Europe is used in Russia. Our club is set up for more active dialogue with different people from the European society to make our intercourse more easier and free.

Participation of Ambassadors on the opening of the club demonstrates not only their respect to Russians but also their interest in good relationships. More over opening of the club is a base for productive meetings of the European and Russian parliamentarians not only in Moscow but also in out of the way place, where Europe starts. As Helmut Kohl said : «  Question of European integration is a question of war and peace in 21st c».
